Like a lot of riders, I have attempted to remind others of our POW an MIA's. By wearing a bracelet with a name on it, by riding with RFTW and by talking with others. Over the years I have thought of what our brothers must be going though,  and have found that you cannot in all reality put yourself in their position. I know there are other riders like myself that have the same thoughts.

BUT in all my years of thinking of the POW/MIA's, I (and others I imagine) have never really known what the families are going through. Have most of us ever really sat down with an MIA family member and talked with them about what they are going through?

A good friend of RFTW and an MIA sister, Donna Elliott, has put it into words for the whole world to see, and yes to feel. What one family has had to endure all these years is unfathomable and to multiply that by the number of MIA family's is an overwhelming thought. The hurt, the hardship, the praying, the waiting. The waiting for their government to step up an do whats right, for their government to adhere to the "No Man Left Behind" that all military personnel are trained to think and god forbid when captured know that their comrades and government are doing ALL that can be done to bring them home.

Check out Jerry Elliott's families story. Read the story written by his sister Donna Elliott.
Read Keeping the Promise. (hellgatepress.com or Amazon.com)This will renew anyone's vow to keep the POW/MIA movement in front of the public and the government.

Definitely a  book for us to read.   I saw some reviews from readers that have read it, & they give it a 4 to 5 star rating, stating how much of an impact the book made.

Thanks, Cowboy, for reminding us about not only the book, but also our real mission.
