Sgt. Matthew Lloyd has returned from Kandahar for a two week leave. Before leaving he shipped Wilson and the American Flag back. Wilson is still in transit. I created a Facebook page for him. His full name is Wilson Spalding. He will also be available for travel. Anyone wishing to include Wilson in there travels on just daily life for a short time I will ship him and include return shipping postage. Only request from me is digital photos and permission to post them. So keep it clean. A few noteable things. Wilson has been signed by Willie Wilson from the Kansas City Royals. He was also spotted with Coach Mangino. He also spent some time with a few racers during the Brickyard 400 a couple years ago. He has backpacked in the North Carolina mountains with a doctors family. He went to Grenada and we did not have to send in the Marines to rescue him. He also survived a trip to South Korea and got lost in the luggage. This year he went to Hawaii and then on to Kandahar. I am hoping I can get someone to donate him a service badge. This is all meant to be a small distraction from the dulldrums of everday life. Anyone wishing to join in is welcome. |

I would like to take Wilson on the Run For the Wall in 2011 I have a place for him to ride and a helment in states that require one I would like to have him arive in Odessa Texas by 12 of May and I will return him by the first of June He will go from California to Washington DC and have a great view of the country on the way . my email address in rayequip@aol.com thanks you Ray Too Tall McDowell

Ray,
It would be an Honor to have Wilson ride with you and be able to see the Run through yours and his eyes. He will be all yours. General and I are planning on doing another ATW in 2011. I will hand deliver him.

that will be fine I have a special place for him on top of my back touring box he will fit nicely and have a great view. I think Too Small is going to make him a RFTW vest.

Well Mr. Wilson has arrived in Grants Pass, Or. in fine shape. He will be travelling for the next few weeks up here going to the sound at Seattle soon then back home unless Shortstack takes more of liking then she should.. Thanks. Hardcharger

Well an up date on Mr. Wilson, he has been out and about. He drove a big rig, went horse back riding in the hills, went on a motorcycle ride with and it is the truth, a bunch of bears, have the pics to prove it. I don't know when he had his accident but he is at the ER now and I will get an up date from the Tree Rivers Hospital soon. Then I think he will be heading home Although Shortstack tells me he may have to go to therapy at at a local chiropractor. I will keep you up dated. Hardcharger

Wilson is in good hands I saw the pictures of the nurses that were taking care of him . I really think he should have made the trip to Angle Fire for the bod meeting his input would have been good Too Tall

Wilson,
You take all the time you need. A good back adjustment never hurt anyone. Besides it has been to hot to do much here. General and I stood for 3 missions on Saturday. Drink, Drink, Drink was the order of the day.

Well it is with a heavy heart that I must say good by to Wilson. He has decided to return back east. So I will take him down and send him off. It was an Honor and with pride that we rode with Wilson. We hope that he can attend the Reunions, as I'm sure that he would be a welcome addition to the crowds. So GD please take good care of our friend, Shoetstack and I have become very fond of him.

Will take good care of Wilson upon his return. Just hope I can keep him from sneaking off with the nurse. A bit of disapointing news. G and I will not be able to make it to this years reunion. I have a debt that needs to be repaid so this years reunion money is headed elsewhere. However, if Cowboy is up to the task I could ship Wilson down to Texas and he can stand in for G & I. |

GD........for sure ship Wilson down ASAP.........He will get to Kerrville and if lucky will hit White Sands National Monument and if REAL lucky a ride on Outlaw, that is if Bandit (wolf) dog lets him.
 Which brings up a qustion....does Wilson mind being played with by dogs and a cat or two  I will keep him away from rattlesnakes......

Cowboy, Wilson will be coming your way as soon as he arrives here. He is in transit and should show up any time. Dogs and cats would be a fun play date (no chewing). The rattlesnake would be good for lunch. Been along time since I had some. Thanks for having Wilson for the reunion. At least one of us will be there.
