Concordia Missouri Parade

   I wanted to let everyone know that the RFTW riders have been invited to ride in the Concordia Fall Festival parade on September 8th.  Exact details are to be determined but the parade usually begins around 7:00 p.m.  The fall festival has a great German Beer Garden.  I'll post more details once the schedule is published.  Let me know if you're interested.

	The ALR407 Lenexa, KS has assisted with fueling and getting the flags along the exit ramp for quite a few years now. If they want....I can put the word out to them if Concordia would be interested. If they only want the rider participants.....no problem. Thanks-Peewee

	Actually during the Concordia after action meeting, the good folks from Concordia extended an open offer for any of the RFTW folks, or their supporters to come down and participate in the Saturday night parade. Sounds like a fun time, will do our best to attend!

	Went on line to book a motel this morning, not very good reviews for the couple in Concordia. Looks like we would need to go about 10 miles east to get a decent room. Any chance there might be camping somewhere near the German Beer Garden?

	OK. anyone wanting to ride in the Concordia Fall Festival Parade tomorrow needs to be at the Hardee's parking lot just off the I-70 Concordia Exit, #58. Regarding lodging, the problems we had here were with Travel Lodge and they have done some repairs and replacements since the reviews were written. If you have any questions my cell # is 660-909-4627. We are having a motorcycle/car show hosted by the American Legion Riders from 10:00am to 2:00pm if you're interested. Hope to see some of you there!

	We stayed in the park. The bathrooms were left open all night and the police told the teenagers to go home at about 9pm (they were just talking quietly). BOTH my husband and I played your voice msg and tried to call but I kept getting a "not in service" recording and Kayaks wouldn't even ring through. After looking at your previous post on here.......your number is 606- 9 ZERO 9..... We BOTH heard it as a 606-9 ONE 9.... SORRY, but we tried even the next morning. Thank you for the offer and I will save your CORRECT number in my contacts and we will see you in the future. -Peewee
