Just wondering...? Have the route RC's been selected for the 2013 RFTW?
USMC 1964-1969 (RVN 65-66)

USA 1969-1987 (RVN 70-71)

USA 2004-2007 (OIF 05-06)

The 2012 Assistant CR Coordinator Stan Handley has been named as Central Route Coordinator for 2013.
 
The 2012 Route Coordinator Laurie Clay has again been named as Southern Route Coordinator for 2013.
 
Thus far, the Assistant Coordinators for both routes Have Not been named.

Sorry Laurie!  Not a real, great compliment joining a 'very small group...who have been Route Coordinators for two years...as in the Central Route Coordinator for 2007 - 08.  He was a true 'AssHat!'  However, this was a lousy decision on behalf of the BOD at that time. <Hi Mark!>  It was unfortunate that 'ego took over' and  or whatever politics were at play at that time.  Subsequently, the Central Route Coordinator appointments have rapidly gone down hill since then <read - as in 2012 - along with this latest 2013 announcement.>

IT WAS PROBABLY WEONG. LATE AT NIGHT I THOUGHT WE WERE DISCUSSING SR  AND A COMBINATION OF SO FEW POSTS AND THINKING ABOUT THOSE THAT POST JUST TO CAUSE TROUBLE I JUST DID IT. I LATER LOOKED FOR IT AS I DECIDED TO ERASE IT. THERE WAS A NEW GUY  ON LAUGHING DEVIL TV SHOW THAT DID NOT RIDE AND HE WAS KIND OF OFF THE MARK TOO. ITS EVEN LATER AT NIGHT NOW MAYBE I SHOULD ERASE THIS TOO ANY WAY I THOUGHT IT WAS SUSPICIOUS TO SAY CR WHEN I THOUGHT PREVIOUS POSTS HAD BEEN ABOUT SR. I WILL BUY YOUALL A BEER IF MY STAMINA GETS GOOD ENOUGE TO RIDE AGAIN.

You just don't get it, do you.  After the years of committment on our part, the cost of each trip, the quilted POW/MIA wall hangings that I sewed and donated to both Routes....to be treated at the end like $hit!  Where was your 'emotion' then and the outrage, as a 'good friend,' at how we were being treated by an organization that you stridently support?!  What exactly is your problem when I'm not criticizing the Southern Route's leadership, which is your focal point, is it not?  You are not familiar with those that we speak of, current and future leadership....we are and there are those that share our feelings as well.   I'm not supposed to express an opinion because you don't like it?  If the forum moderator wants to delete this post, that's fine with me.  If you have that type of influence over the forum moderator, then I have to ask 'what purpose does it serve?'

Broomie.....I stood by you two and offered you the chance to change routes when you felt like you did. The two of you would of been more than welcome and you told me you knew as much. You refused that offer. I have NO influence over anything on this site.
 
I will say that in the past there have been riders on the forum that have had differences with one another and they maned up an took it off line to personal mails or phone calls.
 
I am sorry you an North49 feel this way as you both did go WAY above and beyond what a lot of riders have done. You two didn't just talk the talk you walked the walk. Coming out of Canada in the snow and freezing for hundreds of miles to get to CA is dedication.
