We got home on Monday afternoon safe & sound. While we were glad to get home, it was hard to believe the Run was over already.

Still on the road. Did the Southern Route to DC this year so I'm doing the Central Route backwards to get home. Had a great lunch in Rainelle with one of the locals I met in the parking lot of the restaurant. Have run into three or four other RFTW family on the road including a Road Guard and a Tail Gunner in Missouei this morning. No set time for getting home; I'll be there when I get there.  Wink

Made it back to Peculiar late this afternoon after a brief stop in Concordia for fuel.  Would you believe the lady working did not have a pin given to her this year?  Well that issue was resolved!

Many thanks to everyone who partnered together to get folks from LA to D.C.  Prayers for quick recoveries (or like me, some necessary repairs)

Keep your face in the wind, stay safe, hope to see you next year!

My small group of two made it safely back home yesterday afternoon.  I can't believe the run is over this year.  This was our FNG year and I was totaly amazed at how 600-700 motorcycles can ride in formation that distance and not have any major problems.  It is only a testament to the RFTW organization and the efforts by many to make this the greatest run that I've ever experienced.  When I got home, my wife ask me"did you you get out of your system?"  my reply was "I didn't get out of my system, I got it in my system"  I'll be back next year and will try to work it out to go "All the Way".

Got home yesterday after leaving Fat Daddy and April in DC Monday morning. Rode south to ride the Dragon "GOT LOST !!" Found a riding area in general area of Wythville Va. called the Snake. Makes the dragon look like a kiddy ride."Got Lost!" Found the Dragon and rode it. Left Deal's Gap and guess what! Yep. Got Lost. Finally found Knocksville just where someone told me it would be and I-40. Finally a road that had good signs. Thought I saw Elvis at a convenance store in Memphis as I passed through. Think he was lost! He was eating a peanut butter and banana samowich and drinkin an RC. Finaly got back to the land of chicken fried steak an Pace Picanty suase.

Slammer, sorry about the drive belt.  Ride safe.  tlsplawn, understand the part about getting into your system.  I did the Run the first time in '09.  When I got back, my wife had a similar response.  She went with me in  '10, now she gets it.  Will be on the Run as long as the Good Lord lets me.

Made it home safe and sound yesterday afternoon around 4 PM. We had to go from DC up to Philadelphia and left PA on Tuesday morning. Hard riding, and plenty of rain but the worst was outside of Little Rock we were slowed by construction on I 40. We stood absolutely still for 4 hours without moving before finally clearing the 20 miles of backed up traffic. No more Harley break down issues and smooth sailing. First thing I did when we got home was take my Road Glide out for a ride. Trikes are nice, but 2 wheels are so much nicer.
