The San Diego Straggler contingent will continue the tradition of arriving last to the event.  We will rise late on Tuesday morning, rub the sleep from our eyes, spill some coffee, hunt up some relatively clean underwear, and start to load the bike.  We will make a mental note- "Next year, make a list..."

One rider will head out, join another, then a third, then two more in Escondido, then begin to look like a little formation heading up the I-15 toward y'all.  North of Murietta, FNGs Paul and Maria will join- first for breakfast, then the last push to RC.  Just in time for the meetings, we sure want FNGs Paul, Maria, Fallout, and Brian to get trained and ready.  More great people for this incredible family!

Straggler #1 and his wife will already be there, they are breaking Straggler tradition and going up on Monday.  Be sure to greet "Coyote Guts" Jimmy and his faithful companion Noreen "Pain in the Butt."

(Gotta be one of the worst road names ever, but she picked it her own self...)

Their "bike" for this one is a small motor home.  Just as well, the dog loves to ride but the cats keep falling off.

This is probably way too much information already, but when you meet them it will all fall into place.

See ya Tuesday,

Sidewalk with Festus, Skipper, Fallout, Fallout's guy, (Really need a road name here...) Slide, and Maria.

I was wondering if Jimmy & Noreen were going to draft us in their motorhome. Wink  Yes we need to find my guy a road name for sure!  I have tons of names for him but not sure they are appropriate Tongue.  He is out in the garage now installing my new passing lights.  Nothing like waiting for the last minute to add new things to the bike but we didnt want to hear everyone tell me my light was too dim and that they cant really see me.  Plus they are my Mother's Day present.   It gives me three days to try them out before we meet up with the group.

This is our FNG ride and we're honored to be with all of the riders who represent the best of America and have served faithfully. Since Noreen and I are in the RV we hope we can be helpful to RFTW volunteers and/or any rider who needs most anything. I know they like to have FNG's do little and experience the Run, which we'll do, but we stand ready to tote food to the merchandise volunteers, hand out water or clean Skipper's scooter.

I'm guessing most folks will get to meet The Stragglers before the Run is over....Biker Tommy never met a stranger and if he doesn't engage you in a chat somewhere along the line it's because you are not on the Run.

Looking forward to checking in on America with a band of brothers and sisters.
