Going by what Sidewalk and others said earlier "PACK LIGHT" the list is not  allowing one to pack light.

The list is  a good start, gather it together and then see what you think you don't need, it will fit if packed right but please remember it is  a guideline not a bible

PACK as lite as you can, avoid your bike being weighted down by luggage. 
Meds, socks, fast drying undies (3 pair at most) fast drying shirts (4-5) fast drying pants (2)
boots on your feet, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, comb or brush, underarms deordant, camera, $$$, YOU ARE PACKED!  
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO SAY WELCOME HOME!

Look for the P39.  It has a battery operated electric motor.
