Just drove by and it is a 66 station.  QT changed to 66 while we were in AZ over the so called winter.

Slammer - are you meeting us in Wentzville or jumping in on the fly as we pass through Wright City?

Gallup-pay  LOL - can you please add one more for me???!  One of my AWESOME brothers (who happens to be a Marine vet from the first Gulf War) happened to have made it in from AZ due to the situation with our grandma.  I'm pretty sure I've talked him into coming down with Mom and me on Saturday so the three of us can get some time together.  He very rarely makes it back to this state - last time was 8 years ago!  :D  Hope it's not an issue.  THANK YOU!!

Outstanding - 29 it is.  Fantastic you, your brother and Mom can make it (just wish you both were coming home for better circumstances)

FYI, sounds like there is a line we go through to get the BBQ and there is plenty of room.  From the menu to the folks I've met over the phone, sounds like T-Sharp really picked a good location!

Ooops, sorry - subtract one.  My brother has a limited time here and a huge project he plans to get done for my Mom, so he's going to stay and work tomorrow.  :(  We are bummed, but he's very determined and focused.

Good company, good food on a cool spring day in Concordia -- 24 folks, 22 of which will be participating in the 2012 Run.

Great seeing Mike Jines, Jim Bertsch, Ann and Fred Niblock, Karen & Ron Kennedy, Gary Claspille, Betty and Dennis Wright, Jim Dodson, Aaron and Erica Borcherding, Rena and David Meyer, Rick and Linda Behymer, John "Slammer" Gebhards, Alan Gann, Terry Sharp, Don Barker, Penny Farren, Kris "Tigger" Allen and Sandy Allen.

Special thanks to Biffle's Smoke House, Concordia for accommodating this group in their meeting room

See you all in May!

Gallupe, it was great to meet everyone. I sensed a feeling in the room that everyone was ready to go on the Run. When I got home I took my bags out and started packing.  Was it raining? I didn't notice. See everyone in 37 days.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.

Dan, thanks for putting this together.
It was good seeing some of you again and meeting some for the first time. Tigger, hope your mother still lets you make the run after meeting all of us.
I was feeling a little down this morning because I wasn't sure I was ready physically but feel a little better now knowing the ride yesterday was equal to our longest day on the southern route and about 70 miles farther than an average day. Just the same, think I'd better do some extra stretching and make another day trip.
Slammer, thanks for watching our backs. It was the first time using the CB on a motorcycle for me and having so many buttons to tinker with. Hope I didn't frustrate you all too much.
See you all somewhere along the route.
Terry

Like everything else, team work paid off.  Thanks to everyone for the input that helped select a central location with great food that allowed people on both sides of the state to participate.

glad to hear it was a success
Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation. Thanks SheWolf

Silly tsharp - she's already met a lot of the Run people and she LOVES that I do the Run!!  lol  You know she's the coolest mom ever when you tell her you're riding cross country with a bunch of bikers (most of whom you don't know)...and especially so when you only know the road names of the guys you ride with.  LOL
