Smile   Well, here it is almost the third Saturday in March and time to meet with the the greatest riders ever at Johnson's Corner, Colorado! Thought I would see if I could find out if we can meet up for the ride up there from Colorado Springs and Denver. Just let me know here what the plan is.

The world is made up of spectators and participants! Put me in the game, coach!

I'll meet up with you as you come through, same as last time -- on ramp heading north at 120th Avenue at 11:00 a.m.  Doc doesn't have a CB, but Vapors... I'll be monitoring channel 2... give me a call as you approach and I can join up with you on the fly.

We have a couple of riders coming up from Colorado Springs on Friday evening to participate in a Stage Crew planning meeting.  They will be staying overnight to attend the Colorado RFTW lunch at Johnson's Corner.  My thought is to organize a group ride going south after lunch to escort our Springs friends part of the way home, perhaps Castle Rock or so.

Works for us...We're thinking there may be a traffic issue in Denver though as I believe there is a big car and bike show on Saturday....Any thoughts on traffic around Coors field??

Sounds like a good ride... last month Doc Grizzly and I rode back and encountered parking lot traffic coming into Westminster around 120th Ave.  We could avoid it all by getting on E-470 and riding around the city... it's a toll road (photo toll, no stopping, bill comes in the mail), but it shouldn't be too much.

I am not recomending breaking the law. But if when you go through the toll plazas your front and rear wheels are on the line between the lanes the cameras may not catch you.

The car and bike show is in Colorado Springs on Saturday. The traffic will be headed south. I will be at Target at 10:30.Smile

It was the St. Patricks Day parade I was thinking of...It meets at Coors field at 10....Think that'll be a problem?
