Sure enough, Sidewalk, yesterday was UGLY! Woke up this morning to bright sunshine, though it comes and goes, and it's still pretty cold, but it'll be warm again in a couple of days. Thankfully here in SoCal we don't have to worry about all that winter prep and putting the bike away for winter. Non-riding season never lasts for more than a couple of days. My son in Michigan had his out the other day for the first time in months. May is always a good month for riding. Is it May yet?

It is apparently "May" in most of the country today, but in Rancho Cucamonga it is cold, rainy, and blowing. It is warmer for my Dad in Minnesota today than here in California where the sun is taking the day off.
You northerners need to have a good laugh today, because normal will be back!!

Yep...no Metro service to Dulles, yet. I believe they're in the process of building a line out there, silver line I think. Well, if you don't get any takers or pick the shuttle, I live in the area and will have my truck. Would be happy to run you out to Dulles at no charge. That stands for anyone else needing a lift there or to Reagan/National. I plan on riding with a friend in Rolling Thunder, but I can always come back and metro over to the Pentagon since they don't roll until noon! The Metro does not run to Dulles. Just for fun I checked on a shuttle ride from the Holiday Inn to Dulles, it is $30 for one adult.

Does the metro run all the way out to Dulles? There is a station just a few blocks down from the Holiday Inn.

I will be taking a cab to Dulles AP on Sunday 27MAY2012 and am looking for some to share the cost (about $50.). Last year when I got the airport I saw 2 or 3 guys walking around with their RFTW vest on. So I just thoufgt I's post this and see if I got ant takers. Will be leaving Arlington around 0800.
